I live in Texas, and it's been a crazy few days. Family friends, animals, neighbors.. they're all in danger, or have already had the danger pass, of wildfires. We know 3 people personally who have lost EVERYTHING. Literally. Including the grass in their yards.
The wildfire in Grimes County is causing so many evacuations, has destroyed homes, and burned about 5200 acres. And it's STILL raging.
That's a lot of land.

I want to help out but I'm broke, so I decided to host a benefit auction and donate the proceeds to help the families. I'm finding an outlet that directly benefits the victims, not a non-profit that keeps most of the money.

I'm back!

*REALLY dramatic pause*

*drumroll*

I'll be working on my fanfictions again!
NO promises, for the people who are fans of them, but I found my handwritten transcripts of Eternally Missed: A Muse Fanfic, and Zorg: Returned, a Fifth Element fanfic.
After 3 moves and countless spills, I think I still have all of the pages! WOOHOO!!
So keep an eye on me, and see if I can kick my artist/writer's block!
Our baby girl is 9 MONTHS OLD!! I can't believe it!! She's already trying to walk, she said "dog" as her first word yesterday, and she's in love with animals already. Just like mom ^_^.

We are officially using The Bead Muse as our Assumed Name in our county, so we're basically official. But if we can't make enough money off of this, then we won't keep the shop open.
My biggest question is... do you folks think I should sell sized prints of my artwork? Obviously my good artwork, not my crummy stuff.
